The most popular destinations for this summer are in nature and almost 40% of Spaniards surveyed in the latest Allianz Partners `International Vacation Confidence Index´ would like to travel more sustainably. In order to respond to these concerns, the leading Insurance and Assistance company promotes new services and solutions

According to the latest study on travel trends for this summer published by Allianz Partners, almost half of travelers consider traveling in a more sustainable way, taking into account the reduction of their CO2 emissions, the environmental policies of the destination countries and , even, their sustainable investments. The climate crisis and the current instability are also factors that travelers consider when organizing their vacations, adding the economic component. According to information published by the Booking.com portal, almost 47% of travelers combine concern for the environment with the need to look for discounts on sustainable options. This trend has prompted Allianz Partners to create agile and digitized solutions that, in addition to respond to the needs of its customers, generate the least possible impact on the environment, reducing unnecessary trips and procedures. An example of this is its digital platform for travelers: Allyz, which also has the virtual health assistant: Emma. This solution offers highly individualized services in complex and delicate situations, especially in medical emergencies. In addition, the SmartBenefits functionality allows you to monitor flights and issue automatic payments in case of delays. Likewise, this trend has prompted Allianz Partners to reinforce its products and sustainable commitment, strengthening alliances such as the one it maintains with the UNWTO (World Tourism Organization) as affiliated member to promote safer, more responsible and accessible tourism and, at the same time, design actions that allow it to protect and care for its clients and the planet. Among these actions, the recent launch of the `Bosque Allianz Partners´ in collaboration with the Tree-nation Organization stands out, with whom the entity seeks to reforest areas at risk of losing their habitat, planting more than 20,000 trees over the next year and thereby supporting projects premises to provide decent employment and ensure fundamental rights. Fernando Barcenilla, Travel Sales Manager at Allianz Partners Spain, indicates: “Sustainability at Allianz Partners goes beyond a business commitment, it is part of our DNA, and as such, we have proposed include it in every step we take. As a company, it is our responsibility to provide a responsible offer and create actions that take care of our environment. Knowing that the need to protect our planet is important to our customers is one more motivation to continue being pioneers in responsible solutions , agile and sustainable that ensure the peace of mind of our clients regardless of their destination.”More information on travel trends here
