HANGZHOU, China, April 20, 2023 /PRNewswire/ — ASTRO N, Astronergy’s n-type TOPCon series of modules, recently underwent major moves at Walla Walla Solar Farm in Australia, marking a milestone to set the accelerating pace of Astronergy’s TOPCon PV modules to help create a net zero carbon world.
Equipped with 355 MWdc ASTRO N modules, the solar farm in the Riverina region of New South Wales is expected to generate 700,000 MWh of electricity per year, benefiting at least 90,000 local homes and reducing 520,000 tonnes of carbon dioxide emissions per year. anus.
Walla Walla is the result of a collaboration between Gransolar Group, which will form a joint venture with Astronergy, and renewable energy solutions developer Fotowatio Renewable Ventures Australia (FRV Australia), co-owned by Abdul Latif Jameel Energy and Canadian fund OMERS. GRS is Australia’s leading EPC contractor.
According to the project participants, the modules to be installed in the solar farm are ASTRO N5 182mm double glass bifacial photovoltaic modules, which are enabled with advantages of high power up to 625W, high efficiency up to 22.4% and high performance with only 1% degradation in the first year.
In addition, the 30-year performance guarantee insurance from the world-renowned Ariel Re for all these PV modules perfectly met the project’s power generation need for at least 30 years.
With enchantments of more than 700,000 ASTRO N5 double-glass bifacial modules for long-life clean power generation after operation in 2024, the ASTRO N-equipped project will also boost the local economy by creating up to 250 construction jobs.
On the journey to promote the world’s life in carbon sustainable and net zero, ASTRO N is picking up its pace. For a greener world, Astronergy always stays positive and forward. In May, Astronergy World Tour 2023 will hold its first Solar Party in Australia, welcoming all interested to register and participate (https://alt.jotfor.ms/231002710462136).
