In addition to the information already stored on the components, eBikers can now add other identifying details, such as the frame number, descriptions of special functions, documents or even a photo of the eBike. This means that eBike owners have all the important information at their fingertips, and not just in case of theft, because if the insurance company or specialist dealer has questions about the eBike or doubts whether it will be resold , the eBike pass provides information quickly.Quick solution in case of theft If the eBike is stolen, it can be easily reported to the police using the new theft report function. In “My eBike”, users can mark their eBike as stolen in the eBike Flow app and then access the final theft report based on questions stored in the app. In addition to the time, location and a description of the incident, the function also records personal data such as name and phone number so that the police can contact the affected person directly if necessary. All eBike data is automatically taken from the eBike pass information. Owners can email the final report to the police in PDF format or print it if necessary. The two new eBike pass functions as well as the theft report complement functions such as the additional smart protection eBike Lock and the Premium eBike Alarm service. Improved Navigation In addition to new anti-theft protection features, the software update brings improvements to navigation with the eBike Flow app. Thanks to the new quick menu on the Ride screen, you can change the navigation target while riding using the selection key on the LED Remote, the Mini Remote or the Purion 200 display without having to stop or take your hands off the handlebars. In addition, the current navigation can be ended easily and directly. With expanded route planning, eBikers can now also easily add personalized intermediate stops to the navigation on their tours. To do this, just press and hold on the map; Alternatively, the “Add destination” option is available. The new altitude graph illustrates what you have already achieved on the Tour: a clear line graph shows the total distance, including all altitude differences. As a dot marks the current position, eBikers know exactly which ascents they have already completed and which descents lie ahead. With new functions, the smart system is constantly being equipped with new functions for greater safety, personalization and comfort when practicing eBiking . The update can be downloaded with the eBike Flow app, which is available in the corresponding app store at no additional cost. Issuer: Bosch eBike
