Malaga, March 25, 2024.- The Malaga men’s fashion brand Boston has launched its new Smart Capsule collection for this spring. Inspired by resort-style looks, the brand presents a catalog of garments that combines elegance and comfort in a sample with touches of dandy aesthetics in the cut of the pieces and, above all, in the design of the accessories.
The collection is based on clean silhouettes, fluid fabrics and neutral colors, ideal for these spring months in which good weather and outdoor plans return after the cold winter. “Patterns tend to be increasingly relaxed and less structured: unlined blazers, pleated pants, joggers, elastic waistbands, laces in clean designs and with functional details,” explains Marta Orío, creative director of Boston.
Among the more than forty pieces that make up the capsule – between garments and accessories – the linen blazers stand out as the stars of the catalogue. This is stated by Marta Orío, who focuses her attention on a raw-colored one “since it helps us create very fresh looks, perfect for daytime events or for a more casual look.” Likewise, the sample includes a wide range of items, such as pleated pants, joggers, shirts and tricot polos, without overlooking sweatshirts and printed t-shirts, perfect for an informal outfit.
In this way, the new Smart Capsule from Boston presents a set of pieces with which to achieve the perfect look for spring events. “Light linen blazer, Tencel shirt in any of our powdery colors and tapered pants with ultra-fine fabric, with esparto-soled moccasins and a printed scarf around the neck or on the jacket. If we want to give it a plus, rustic printed cotton ties,” suggests Marta Orío.
As for the color chart, the Malaga firm once again opts for neutral tones, a classic in its color palette. There will be no shortage of ranges of brown and tan, earth, orange and terracotta, which are trendy this season, along with hunting greens, bluish and pale yellow, characteristic of the spring months.
For its part, in terms of materials, the brand wanted to innovate with the use of tencel in its shirts: “a fabric that, although it is increasingly present in men’s fashion, is not easy to find with a washed appearance and a matte finish. which we bet on. If you try it, you repeat,” says the creative director. Cool fibers such as linen, poplin and fine tricot have also been used, ideal for the hottest months.
Finally, accessories, essential parts of this Smart Capsule, should not be left aside. The wide range of rustic printed cotton ties, mosaic-type scarves and ethnic belts, combined with leather or esparto footwear, give a special twist to any outfit, thus achieving that dandy, formal but relaxed aesthetic, from which it is based. the collection.
