Against the background of accelerating carbon peak building and carbon neutralization, the global trade in blue carbon is becoming more active. The first shot of blue carbon trading was successfully landed in Xiangshan, which is Ningbo’s first exploration to shape the national blue carbon trading market, and it is also a useful exploration for Ningbo to take the initiative to get out of a practice carbon neutralization and carbon peak.

After the release of China’s major strategic readiness to achieve peak carbon by 2030 and carbon neutrality by 2060, Ningbo saw that action had paid off and took the lead in testing China’s credit assessment services. water carbon across the country, providing precise services for small and inclusive micro-loans through the construction of application scenarios to comprehensively characterize information such as carbon capacity and carbon assets of companies.
