Barcelona, ​​March 8, 2023.- The 40th edition of E-SHOW Barcelona, ​​the largest eCommerce, Digital Marketing, and Big Data event

The car sharing application, Blablacar, has been the winner in the ‘Best app’ of the year category, in which it has competed with the Interior Design and Architecture studio, specialist in premium finishing materials, Midimal, and with the application Repsol payment and loyalty system, Waylet.

The global specialist company in energy management and automation, Schneider Electric, has been distinguished as ‘Best Cross Border eCommerce’ for its commitment to the internationalization of its sales and for the adaptation of its website and its products to different international audiences. It competed with the B2B wholesale platform Big Buy and with the online store specializing in the home improvement and decoration sector Materiales de Fábrica.

In the ‘Best Ecommerce Manager’ category, Juan Garrido from the company focused on Game video games has been the winner for leading the best strategy and the best results at the state level. Among the finalists were Jordi Ortega, from the Portaventura amusement park, and Elisa Rabate, from the Ametller Origen online supermarket.

The fifth prize has gone to Vinoselección as the ‘Best Ecommerce of the year’ for the results and impacts achieved. The two finalists have been the cosmetics brand Freshly Cosmetics and the worldwide paddle tennis distributor Grupo Pádel Nuestro.

The French eCommerce dedicated to DIY, gardening and the home, ManoMano, has received the ‘Best Marketplace’ award for having the greatest offer and diversity of products from different sellers, valuing positioning and consumer experience. The online pharmacy PromoFarma by DocMorris and the online mattress store Dormitienda have been the finalists.

In the ‘Best Omnichannel Project’ category, the winner was the Kiabi fashion store for its establishment both online and offline, betting on omnichannel and achieving greater positioning in the sector. It competed with the brand of covers for baby seats Janabebé and with the Castañer espadrilles store. The Winekata online wine tasting community has been awarded as the ‘Best eCommerce Startup’ for having been dedicated to online commerce for several years, valuing its innovation, creativity, organization, products offered and capacity for expansion.

Closing of the 40th edition of E-SHOW Barcelona.

These awards serve as a closing to E-SHOW Barcelona where more than 8,000 professionals from the technology sector have gathered to address the situation of eCommerce, the opportunities that the sector poses, the present and future of flexible payments or how to monetize the metaverse, among other topics. Executives from companies such as Orange, Naturgy, Toyota, Lidl, Air Europa, Henkel, Desigual, PepsiCo or Unilever have attended these two days of the fair.

The 2023 edition has had more than 130 exhibitors and 120 national and international speakers, most of them with an executive profile.
