With 1,500 models, Germany’s largest agency MGM Models is also one of the most prominent within the European industry.
With MGM Cosmetics by MGM Models, the agency is now a pioneer in bringing its own premium skincare line to market.
Hamburg, August 2023 (News Aktuell).- The agency where famous top models such as Kate Upton and Chrissy Teigen began their careers, also represents some of the most promising new supermodels, such as the current visible face of Dior, Maryel Uchida, as well as international celebrities and influencers.
“Modelskin for Everyone” is the slogan of the new skin care brand, the result of long years of research in a prestigious German laboratory.
“After using it for the first time at Paris Fashion Week, the new skincare series was so well received by models and influencers that our expectations were exceeded and we decided to launch the brand internationally,” explains Daniel Alexander, director of marketing for MGM Cosmetics.
“Throughout my career as a modeling agent, skin health has been a ubiquitous topic, as models cannot have poor skin. I was always looking for a good skincare solution and in the end, I have developed it myself. Our professional demand for healthy and beautiful skin is now met with this highly effective and fantastic skincare series,” says MGM Models CEO Marco Sinervo.
The medical expert in charge of skin care for MGM Cosmetics is the renowned dermatologist Anna Brandenburg: “MGM Cosmetics is a very effective and advanced concept with highly effective and purest ingredients. The different demands of the skin can be optimally covered thanks to the different series in order to maximize their effect. The product range is easy to apply and contains everything you need for healthy skin care. The SPF is also solved by UV protection.
The recommended price of the products that, for the moment, will only be available online, ranges between 38 and 180 euros. These are comprehensive care concepts, divided according to the needs of the skin for each age, in order to guarantee optimal care for different skin types. From the most youthful skin that requires a lower lipid content to the most mature with a powerful anti-aging effect.
For starters, there will be three skincare lines with twelve products for different age groups.
Everday: 16-25 years
Advanced: 25-40 years
Supreme: 35-60 years
Especially “The Modelmask” stands out. A mascara developed for models that can be used fifteen minutes before a photo shoot or fashion show, with an incredible immediate effect.
The list of personal experiences, whether from celebrities, influencers or models, is long. “We don’t have to ask models to promote our products, they are already convinced and delighted with their effect and biocompatibility,” explains Daniel Alexander. Additionally, MGM Models has 60 million followers on social media.
For autumn 2023, its launch is expected in specialized stores and exclusive perfumeries, as well as a presentation event in St. Tropez.
Marco Sinervo (46) has been in the market for almost 25 years and is one of the most experienced representatives of national and international models. The son of a Finn and an Italian, he grew up in Hamburg and, after high school, completed an internship program at what was then the largest German modeling agency in Hamburg. He then worked for several years as a model booker. Later, he spent some time in big agencies in Milan and New York, where he represented top models like Eva Herzigova, among others. With the idea of founding a new German modeling agency of international relevance, MGM Models (formerly “Models Global Management”) emerged in 2007. They wanted to breathe new life into the then obsolete agency scene in Germany.
Today, with its 1,500 models, 60 million followers, 60 employees and global scouting, the company is the largest German modeling agency, well established in Europe, and apart from the German-speaking region, works mainly in the markets of France, Spain, Italy, Great Britain and Scandinavia.
