– European Wellness signs MoU with Tianyou to expand education, research and development and healthcare in China
BEIJING, June 24, 2023 /PRNewswire/ — The European Wellness Academy (EWA), the Malaysian educational arm of the European Wellness Biomedical Group (EW Group), and Tianyou (Macau) Group Co., have signed a Memorandum of Understanding ( MOU) to improve the education, research and development, and healthcare sectors across China.
Malaysian Prime Minister Hon. Dato’ Seri Anwar bin Ibrahim witnessed the momentous occasion, with EW Group Chairman Prof. Dato’ Seri Dr. Mike Chan and Tianyou Co. Director Zheng Yangjun signing the memorandum of understanding on behalf of their respective organizations.
One of the objectives of this joint effort is the establishment of “European Wellness Centers of Excellence for Biological Regenerative Medicine”. The first center will be a European Wellness Academy and branded integrative medicine, wellness and aesthetics facility. A second center will focus on operating and providing premium patient consultations for healthcare professionals throughout China, with the goal of recommending and assisting local patients interested in seeking advanced biological regenerative medicine methods and techniques outside the country.
The second aspect of the partnership is the development of the “European Wellness Academy”, which will function as a biomedical education and training academy for the purpose of achieving professional development, which has the internationally accredited European Wellness certification.
In addition to establishing the “European Wellness International Research Center for Integrative Bioregenerative Medicine, Immunology and Cellular Therapy”, the two parties will also collaborate on the establishment of an International Academic Body and Research Institute in Macao. These institutes will specialize in stem cell research and technology. It will serve as a dedicated facility for conducting advanced studies and research in these fields.
Education, research and development, and healthcare are important drivers of the Malaysian economy and are likely to continue to play an important role in the future growth and development of the country.
