BEIJING, Oct. 12, 2023 /PRNewswire/ — On October 11, FOTON held its global BRAND REJUVENATION AND ALL-NEW PRODUCT LAUNCH event in Changsha, China. 63 distributors, customers and media representing 22 countries around the world gathered to witness the event. They also had the opportunity to experience the FOTON Super Truck plant, which features world-class smart manufacturing processes.

On August 28, 2023, FOTON embarked on the brand’s fourth rejuvenation journey in China. This event marked a significant expansion of its new brand strategy to the global stage, focusing on achieving the “Dual Carbon” strategy with the aim of reaching maximum carbon emissions by 2028 and achieving carbon neutrality in its core factories by 2035. In 2024, FOTON publishes the first ESG report and aims to achieve carbon neutrality in the total value chain by 2050.

The new AUMARK is based on FOTON’s “Future Truck” platform, FOTON’s latest multi-energy exchange platform, featuring modularity, integration and low carbon emissions. It allows the simultaneous launch of products in four main categories: fuel, hybrid, electric and hydrogen fuel cell. In addition, it is produced by FOTON Super Truck Plant, adopting the polyurea spraying process, which improves the prevention of oxidation and corrosion by 50%; meets the highest safety collision standard of ECE-R29.

WONDER is FOTON’s new generation mini truck that caters to lifestyle travel, custom modifications and commercial needs, offering users a new “SMART” experience, which is a smart cabin design for responsive movements and smooth shifting; saving money for TCO; aesthetics for fashion design; reliable for on-time delivery; and “comforT” for driver comfort. The WONDER is available in fuel and electric versions, and the electric version has a charging time of 48 minutes and a range of 280 kilometers.

It is worth mentioning that the electric versions of both new products use batteries from CATL, a world leader in the new energy battery industry. In fact, FOTON and CATL established a joint venture in 2022, focusing on carrying out business operations related to new energy battery leasing services.
