Engage and Inspire: A New Direction for the XMAGE Awards

This year’s XMAGE Awards hope that photographers around the world, casual or professional, will find inspiration in their photography. The award takes its name from XMAGE, Huawei’s imaging research and development division. Like its namesake, the XMAGE Awards aspire to help photographers find inspiration and be innovative in photography.

Launched in 2022, the XMAGE brand focuses on optical system, mechanical structure, imaging technology, and image processing in photography. The four pillars of XMAGE now form the principles of Huawei’s upcoming new smartphone camera technology, such as the latest ultra-aperture camera in the HUAWEI Mate 50 series and the ultra-illumination telephoto camera in the HUAWEI P60 Pro.
