Following the separation of Kantar Public from Kantar Group in September 2022, the company has consolidated its separation and independence with a rebrand in all the markets in which it operates in Europe, Asia-Pacific (APAC) and the United States.

Starting in November 2023, Kantar Public will be renamed Verian.

Michelle Harrison, Global CEO at Verian (formerly Kantar Public) comments:

“After seven years, we have completed our journey as Kantar Public, which was previously a division of Kantar. Today, as an independent company, we begin the next phase of our journey as Verian.”

Combining the Latin roots of ‘truth’ and ‘the qualities of’, the name reflects the Group’s global experience in providing insights and certainties to public policies and decision-making in government and the public sphere.

As Harrison says: ‘Our company works in all areas of the policy cycle, from research, program evaluation, behavioral change, to the creative execution of public communication. But deep down, across all our different teams and continents, we seek the truth for our clients.
