An enhanced estimated time of arrival (ETA) feature receives direct information from nShift’s real-time connections with carriers. The retailer can offer customers very precise delivery dates, based on the actual status of the carrier, at the time of purchase.

The new badges promote the shipping options available to customers by allowing merchants to add icons indicating the types of delivery offered. For example, green leaves could be added next to eco-friendly shipping options or a lightning bolt icon next to express delivery type. In addition, badges allow shoppers to quickly identify services that meet their requirements, and since this is much faster than reading service descriptions, it ultimately increases the conversion rate at checkout.

The new features are complemented by an improved user interface widget that gives merchants more control over the appearance of their checkouts.
