Power Electronics, world leader in energy storage and the leading manufacturer of solar inverters for photovoltaic plants in America, Oceania and Europe, has announced the sponsorship agreement for the 21st edition of the Mutua Madrid Open tennis, which will take place from April 24 to 7. May at the Caja Mágica (Madrid). The multinational will be the official supplier of chargers for electric vehicles for the tournament with two facilities inside the Caja Mágica. One of the car parks will be dedicated exclusively to charging the electric vehicles that will transport tennis players and tournament staff and the other will be available to VIP fans who come with their own electric vehicle. The Mutua Madrid Open is part of the ATP and WTA circuits and it has brought together, for 20 editions, the best tennis players in the ranking, who offer the best tennis in the world to the national and international public. The signing of the agreement took place today in Valencia, at the multinational’s facilities, where David Salvo, CEO of Power Electronics, received Gerard Tsobanian, CEO and President of the Mutua Madrid Open, and the tournament director, Feliciano López. David Salvo highlighted the great honor it is for the multinational to form part of this alliance with one of the greatest tennis references at an international level, “as one of the main players in the energy transition worldwide, we are very happy to sign this agreement with the Mutua Madrid Open, which is undoubtedly a benchmark for good synergies thanks to the notoriety and wide coverage that the tournament has in many of the countries in which our company is present”. In addition, those attending the Mutua Madrid Open will be able to visit, during the days of the tournament, the Power Electronics boutique and see first-hand the products offered in its electric mobility division.
