BERGAMO, Italy and BRESCIA, Italy, June 9, 2023 /PRNewswire/ — A long summer of pop will celebrate the Italian Capital of Culture 2023: hundreds of events in Bergamo and Brescia to fill summer days and nights with life , music and colour.

“The Harlequin Cape,” a participatory theater and art festival from Bergamo’s Tascabile Theater until Sept. 30, features international artists such as Kaarina Kaikkonen and Vero Cendoya.

The Centro Teatrale Bresciano marks the centenary of the birth of Italo Calvino with “The invisible cities. The future is a must”, where 20 artists will perform from June 27 to July 9 in a visionary show.

Thousands of local artists will participate in Festadella Music in Bergamo from June 21 and in Brescia from June 24. Bergamo hosts “Lazzaretto Estate 2023”, fifteen nights from June 27 to July 30 starring great artists such as Madame (July 7), Snarky Puppy (July 10), Pat Metheny (July 19), Francesca Michielin (28 July), Jethro Tull (July 28). The Cipiesse review will bring Brescia Mr Rain (July 15), Coma Cose (July 24) and Dardast (July 26), Steve Hackett (July 6).
