The good performance of the business generated around Edge Computing, sales of cybersecurity solutions and income from new strategic sectors such as IoT, 5G and SDN (software-defined networks), keys to economic growth
The Spanish technology company Teldat has achieved historic results in 2022, the year in which its sales have grown by 23% compared to the previous year of 2021. And an increase of 17% compared to the best year of the company with more than 38 years of history . Total sales exceed the pre-pandemic figures, when Teldat concatenated several years of significant growth. The company exports to markets in more than 40 countries. One of the causes of the economic success is attributed to the figures generated by Edge Computing, which the company estimates as “a very important achievement, taking into account the high level of competition in this market and worldwide shortage of electronic components”. Teldat’s great flexibility has allowed it to collect in secondary markets, redesign hardware and launch new, more competitive models; where other companies have been affected and have not been able to react. It should be noted that the growth experienced has been consolidated by the new R&D lines, where IoT, cybersecurity and SDN have registered increases of 62%, 24% and 13% , respectively. Increasing the company’s operating margins by more than five tenths of a percentage compared to 2021. In vertical markets, sales of solutions in the utilities sector stand out, which have increased significantly in 2022, multiplying by 2.3 compared to 2020.
