This is the first LEGO Group theme inspired by the way children dream, after research found that two out of three children around the world say that dreaming helps them to be more creative. LEGO DREAMZzz launches worldwide on May 15, with episodes of a new TV series airing worldwide and more exciting episodes and products coming in August.
The LEGO Group today revealed LEGO® DREAMZzz™, the new play line that brings the creativity of children’s dreams to life through a series of animated content and a range of new products packed with nighttime adventures. that this new line arises after the company carried out a global investigation carried out with more than 23,000 children. In Spain, research reveals that the majority of children believe that dreaming is an important part of life. Seven out of ten believe that dreaming is important. A similar number say that dreaming helps them explore their creative imagination, or that happy dreams help them to be more creative (70% each), while 67% say that dreaming gives them ideas for their real lives. Almost all (94%) Spanish children dream, and of these, the vast majority enjoy doing it, to the point of not wanting to wake up or have tried to go back to sleep to continue dreaming. Enter the world of dreams with LEGO DREAMZzz The LEGO DREAMZzz series follows the adventures of school friends Mateo, Izzie, Cooper, Logan and Zoey, who join a secret agency and learn to use the power of imagination to travel to the Dream World and defeat the tyrannical King of Nightmares. There will be 10 episodes that will see the light of day on May 15, followed by the product range and more episodes from August 2023. Selected participants will fly to Denmark, the headquarters of the LEGO Group, to participate in various workshops and inspire future adventures based on their dreams. Children from 6 to 12 years old will be able to submit their own creation – a photo of a LEGO building or a drawing – that shows something they have dreamed up. A brief description must be included.
