Overwhelmed by her fans’ response to the first episode of the animated series “GOODBYE PRINCESS”, Tia Lee, Asian fashion icon, c-pop singer, film and TV actress, sincerely thanks everyone for their support . The trailer, first animated episode, and accompanying motion photos have garnered 28.16 million views since its release on November 11.
Hong Kong SAR 11/18/2022.- Tia is looking forward to the release of the second episode “Stuck in Time” on November 15 with equally amazing results.
After the first episode, in “Stuck in Time”, the mermaid transforms into a princess and continues to dive into the depths of the ocean. A beam of light comes to her rescue and leaves her in the care of a special fairy. She now, as a princess, travels in a magical carriage. She believes that she is heading to a magical place with twinkling lights. Along the way, she tries on glamorous dresses and enjoys being the center of her attention, pleasantly surprised by all that the fairy has bestowed on her. But as the light begins to dim, her disappointment grows. Her longed-for palace is getting further and further out of her reach and she realizes that the carriage is going in circles to no destination.
Shortly before the clock strikes midnight, the princess dares to escape and run towards an uncertain future. Jumping out of the carriage, one of her shoes falls off and she is left inside the carriage.
The poster for episode 2 released on November 16 shows:
1. At first glance, the carriage seems to magically carry the princess towards a bright future. But, on closer inspection, the float is a prison cell, enclosed by iron bars. The big wheel keeps turning and clothes that were once elegant are now being transformed. But is this the life the princess wants?
2. The dresses that the princess wears in the carriage are the same ones that Tia has worn on the runway during her modeling career.
3. Behind the sparkling lights that the princess craves, the blurred silhouette of a castle is seen.
What does this all mean? What relationship does the castle have with “GOODBYE PRINCESS”?
Another set of stunning moving images and still images is also published today alongside Vogue Hong Kong to bring animated video to life. They show a determined Tia, in a pink Jenny Packham dress, running away from mannequins dressed in sophisticated clothes.
Stay tuned for Episode 3, which will be released on November 18 (tomorrow), to find out how the mystery unfolds.
