Rhonda Kave loves teaching New Yorkers how to make gourmet truffles and buttercrunch toffee — once they discover her Lower East Side store.

Enter Vimbly and If Only, two sites that aggregate experiential gifts. After reopening Roni-Sue’s Chocolates in September to focus on workshops, Kave began advertising on these platforms.

Since then, bookings for her buttercrunch-toffee workshop, which costs $75 per person for a two-hour class, have spiked. “It’s really made a difference for us,” particularly for attracting groups for private lessons, said Kave.
