– Ampace has shone at World Smart Energy Week in Japan, spearheading a new era in green energy
TOKYO, March 18, 2024 /PRNewswire/ — World Smart Energy Week has been in full swing in Tokyo from February 28 to March 1. Ampace, as a global leader in medium-sized lithium battery solutions, has been invited to participate in this major event and has presented energy solutions in three areas: energy storage systems, electric batteries and microvehicles.
In response to the Japanese government’s support for photovoltaic projects, Ampace has introduced energy storage system solutions that prioritize high safety, long life and resistance to low temperatures.
Ampace’s high-security LFP energy storage batteries have set an industry benchmark with an exceptional cell failure rate at the PPB level. Unlike ternary lithium batteries, LFP does not release oxygen in the event of a building collapse, preventing system combustion, and has received extensive certifications for residential energy storage system applications in Europe and America.
Beyond battery cells, Ampace has introduced the Reno series for commercial and industrial outdoor battery enclosures, focusing on anti-shock structures. The Reno series has met strict seismic intensity standards, successfully passing testing and deployment in regions with high seismic activity such as California, USA and South America.
For emergencies, Ampace has introduced the Andes 600 Pro and Andes 2000 Pro series portable power station designed for low temperature applications down to -20℃, crucial for residential emergency storage.
In terms of long life performance, Ampace was the first to launch 8000 cycle energy storage battery cells at SOH80% and 15 years warranty service in Japan. Last year, the Kunlun series, with 15,000-cycle ultra-long cells, marked a breakthrough in extending energy storage battery life beyond 20 years. To cope with extremely low temperatures, Ampace has innovated a charging and discharging technology that works between -20℃ and 60℃.
As a joint venture between CATL and ATL, Ampace’s energy storage systems business covers residential, industrial and commercial storage, UPS and portable power supply. The global residential storage market share has exceeded 30%. In addition to green energy, Ampace has exhibited lithium-ion battery products in green energy fields such as drones, vacuum cleaners, power tools and micro vehicles. Until now, Ampace has remained at the forefront with the largest market share in the lithium battery sector for electric motorcycles and has secured the first position in global drone battery shipments.
