The Vive Saludable Awards represent recognition of the exceptional work of those who are involved and contribute in an outstanding way to improving the lives of the people who work at FCC and in the communities where it participates, through safety, health and well-being in the work environment

FCC has held the V Edition of the VIVE Saludable Awards at its corporate headquarters in Las Tablas in Madrid. In this way, the FCC Group recognizes the work and commitment to occupational safety, health and well-being of the different participating organizational units, thus highlighting the special importance of dedication to improving working conditions through the best practices in occupational risk prevention and health promotion in the workplace. The opening of the event was carried out by Pedro Ledesma, who gave way to the welcoming words of Felipe Bernabé García, FCC General Secretary. The president of the FCC Group, Esther Alcocer Koplowitz, and the main executives of the company’s business areas will also be present. As in previous calls, the result has been excellent, the winning applications have been selected from among almost 40 applications from all geographic and business areas of the organization. The initiative or actions carried out by FCC departments, teams, business areas or individuals that contribute to the consolidation of a culture of prevention and the promotion of health and well-being in the workplace have been rewarded. The winners proclaimed in the three categories “Occupational Risk Prevention”, “Health Promotion” and “Personal Mention” have been the following: OCCUPATIONAL HAZARD PREVENTION Category Recognition of commitment with proven effectiveness, in the management of risk prevention labor, specified in: significant milestones, implemented processes, innovative technical measures, entrepreneurial initiatives and any other fact that has favored the control of said risks and the improvement of safety conditions. First Prize• Project “Design and implementation of street cleaning carts” for Zone III of the Delegation of Madrid- LV Zone 6 (Madrid) of the Environment area. Second Prize (shared)• Candidature “LED lighting in the galleries that can be visited in the sewer system” of Zone I of the Delegation Center- UTE Alcant Madrid Lot D of the Aqualia team.• Project presented by the Construction area of ​​Portugal “Demolition of beams , pillars and slabs by means of a remote robot”, in the work Edificio Luis Bívar. HEALTH PROMOTION Category Recognition of the work to promote healthy values, habits and practices, the contribution to preserving and improving the health and well-being of people, and innovative alternatives for a healthier work environment.First Prize (shared)• Candidacy “Protocol for the management of health, well-being and especially adaptation of jobs for especially sensitive and older workers” presented by the Castilla y León Delegation of FCC Medio Ambiente. • Project “Five-minute exercise program at work” from the Delegation of Álava, Vizcaya, Cantabria- Bilbao Internal Joint Venture for the Environment.Second Prize (Shared)• Project “Prevention of musculoskeletal disorders” presented by the Aqualia team from the North-Asturias Delegation.• “Emotional well-being in Aqualia: Covid-19 Challenge” project presented by Aqualia’s SSCCs. PERSONAL MENTION Category Professional recognition of workers who have contributed in an outstanding way to improving safety and security health at work in their area of ​​responsibility, the awards have been: • Cipriano M.
