LONGi harnesses the power of social to tackle climate change in sport
As the official solar and hydrogen partner of the ATP Tour, LONGi will explore new avenues to maintain green sport as it has become a global expectation and duty. Sport is both one of the contributors and one of the victims of global warming.
Using a broad social platform like a global tournament, both partners can create and raise awareness in society about these issues.
Conny Richter, Marketing Director of LONGi Europe, commented: “Sport plays an important role in most of our lives. Even if we do not identify ourselves as sports fans, we participate in it in one way or another. But few people are aware of the climate impact of sporting events. That is why we are here: to educate and generate ideas for sustainable solutions in sporting events.
