Valencia will become the host city for technology executives (CTOs) from national and international companies, such as TopCon, SwipeGuide, Inditex, Universia, Mercadona and Factorial, among others thanks to the CTO Summit congress
The CTO Summit congress, which this year celebrates its fourth edition in May, is the largest forum for CTOs in the country and an event in which year after year the interest of companies in having their CTOs, VP of Engineering and IT teams attend increases . It is a forum to train, meet other technology leaders and establish alliances. The focus of the congress addresses three lines of action: innovative technology and for social good, talent management in IT teams and business approaches for CTOs. It has twenty presentations with professionals from Spain and other parts of the world such as Sue Li, CTO at SwipeGuide; Rolando Angelini, Director of Engineering at Factorial; Jose Manuel de la Chica, CTO at Santander Universities and at Universia Holding; Pedro Mujica, CEO at Wecolab Studio and leader of the TecnoHumanista IANetica project; o Inés Huertas, Data and Artificial Intelligence in Kairós DS. Miguel Ángel Querol from Topcon Mirage Technologies will present how digital twins make it possible to predict the performance of a product; Sage’s Beat Goetschi on driving change as a technology leader; o Ezequiel Cura de Capchase the theory of technological leadership circles; and Marta Rivera from Inditex how to apply MLOps in artificial intelligence models. Over 2 days, more than 600 professionals will meet in the city of Valencia and will consecrate the event as the only one in Europe aimed at the figure of CTO, a role which in recent years has grown and has become a catalyst for the digitization and digital transformation of companies. One of the objectives of the congress is to give visibility to the role of technology directors in companies, so this year The congress incorporates the gala of the GeeksHubs Award for Best CTO 2023. With this award, the figure of this professional is recognized and benchmarks in STEM professions (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) are made visible.
