The leading pizza brand in Spain presents ‘La Famiglia Carbonara’, a new premium range that reinvents the classic Italian carbonara with which it consolidates its innovation strategy
June 28, 2023.- Telepizza presents ‘La Famiglia Carbonara’, an innovative range of premium products with a new carbonara sauce that reinvents the traditional Italian recipe. Included in its ‘Viva la Masa’ campaign, with which the brand has returned meaning to its traditional claim ‘The secret is in the dough’, putting people at the center, this launch promotes one of the star products on its menu while responding to the growing passion for the original Italian recipe in the restaurant sector. Telepizza Carbonara, with almost 3 million pizzas sold in 2022, is the second most consumed by Spaniards, only behind Barbecue out of a total of 34.5 million Telepizzas consumed in 2022.
‘La Famiglia Carbonara’ reaches the more than 700 restaurants that Telepizza has throughout Spain with a new spot that vindicates the roots and position of Telepizza as the only Spanish brand in the QSR sector, but at the same time winks at the reinterpretation of the traditional Italian recipe.
Telepizza thus consolidates its innovation strategy, based on its own dough and secret recipe, with which it offers products that respond to consumer demands. In fact, Telepizza is the only pizza brand recognized by people as one of the most innovative according to the Spanish Innovation Index (IEI), in which, moreover, it has been the one with the best score in its sector. Thanks to this new recognition, the brand establishes itself as the most innovative compared to other competitors.
The new Telepizza are Carbonara Bacon Capone, based on cream, bacon, crispy bacon and mushrooms; and the Creamy Corleone Carbonara, made with a cream base accompanied by provolone cheese, Swiss cheese and oregano. Both specialties are completed with Mafiosa Potatoes, a new snack that is also accompanied by the new Telepizza carbonara sauce.
This launch joins other recent innovations such as the Megamediana, the largest medium pizza in the category at only €6.95, or the filled edges, which strengthen Telepizza’s growth in 2023 in our country, where it has opened 11 new restaurants in recent months, being able to offer service to 32 million customers in our country, a fact that means having a Telepizza less than 8 minutes from home. Thus, Telepizza continues working to present new products and a promotional strategy adapted to different targets and channels that allow it to be on the customers’ side.
