-The Fourth Assembly of Chinese Physicians for Humanity Launches First International Section on Evidence-Based Medicine and Calls for Global Collaboration
BEIJING, Nov. 16, 2022 /PRNewswire/ — The Fourth Assembly of Chinese Physicians for Humanity (CPAH) launched its first international section, inviting experts, doctors and public welfare professionals from the UK, Norway, the Czech Republic and other countries to share their ideas on evidence-based medicine (EBM).
This year’s edition of the CPAH was held both online and in person on November 4 and 5, with the theme of Cohesion and co-construction: the responsibilities of doctors in the well-being of health. The international online section garnered more than one million viewers worldwide. The highlights were:
Professor Zhong Nanshan, Chairman of the CPAH and a Chinese Academy of Engineering Academician, said, “Since its launch at the Great Hall of the People in 2018, the Chinese Physicians for Humanity Assembly has strived to strengthen itself as an organization, exercise actively influence their influence on the public welfare and promote the power of closer relationships between physicians and patients”.
In the future, the CPAH will strengthen the liaison and cooperation with overseas public welfare organizations and the medical field to collaboratively promote the public welfare activities of physicians around the world.
