ATLANTIC CITY — President Donald Trump’s name has been removed from a part of the Atlantic City casino that bore his brand since 1990, the Press of Atlantic City reported.
The name “Trump” is no longer on the Boardwalk entrance to the shuttered Trump Taj Mahal Casino Resort, the report said.
A 2015 settlement between Trump and new owner, Carl Icahn, required that the name be removed by March 2017 if the property was not renovated.
Trump’s name is still on the property’s front entrance and on the hotel tower, the report said.
The casino closed on Oct. 10.
