Celebrity-managed restaurant Wahlburger is open at Waterford Lakes.

The restaurant from the multi-talented brothers Mark, Donnie and Paul Wahlberg opened at the Waterford Lakes Town Center shopping district on Alafaya Trail Monday after a test run over the weekend.

The eastern Orlando fast casual burger joint comes a year after opening a downtown location at Church Street and Orange Ave. That restaurant’s debut was graced by Mark Wahlberg and a concert celebration.

Franchisee Gina Buell said she plans on another slate of Wahlberg appearances for a grand opening celebration.

Wahlburgers is known for its juicy burgers, sandwiches and salads, along with a bar of beer, wine and some mixed drinks.

The restaurants are also graced with homages to the acting careers of the Wahlberg brothers, who starred in television shows and feature movies such as Blue Bloods, Transformers, The Departed and The Perfect Storm.

A reality show on chronicles the challenges of the restaurants on the A&E network and has featured shots at the downtown Orlando location.

Wahlburgers has 12 locations nationwide and a food truck in Philadelphia.

The downtown Orlando and Waterford Lakes restaurants are the only Wahlburgers in Florida.

The new restaurant is 6,700 square feet, slightly bigger than the 6,000 square foot eatery downtown.
