We had quite the semi-final between Canada and the United States on Wednesday at the World Junior Hockey Championship in Halifax.

Montreal Canadiens prospect Joshua Roy had quite the game with two goals and two assists. He was the team’s leading scorer in the 6-2 victory.
Connor Bedard (1b, 1a), Logan Stankoven (1b, 1a) and Adam Fantilli (1b, 1a) also did well, as did goalkeeper Thomas Milic who made several big saves.
The Habs’ other Canadian prospect, Owen Beck, picked up an assist. Defenseman Brandt Clarke scored Canada’s other goal.
The Americans’ response came from the sticks of Logan Cooley and Kenny Connors. They were leading 2-0.
