CANYON COUNTRY — Authorities are asking for the public’s help today in finding a missing Canyon Country man.

Tomas Sanchez Figueroa, 40, was last seen at his home at 10 p.m. Sunday in the 18000 block of Soledad Canyon Road, said Deputy Kimberly Alexander of the Sheriff’s Information Bureau.

Figueroa’s family told authorities he appeared “very depressed” before he disappeared and they are concerned for his well-being.

Figueroa is Hispanic, 5 foot 5, 168 pounds, with slick-back brown hair, brown eyes and a moustache. He was last seen wearing a black shirt, a white flannel jacket, brown jeans and black boots.

Anyone with information about Figueroa’s whereabouts was urged to contact the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department’s Missing Persons Detail at (323) 890-5500.
