This is what the club announced on Monday.
Having hung up his cleats in 2017 after a 13-year career, Setti has some coaching experience. He indeed managed CD Laudio, in the Spanish third division, during the 2020-2021 season. Since then, he has been a recruiter for the Greek club Asteras Tripolis.
Delecroix was responsible for the performance of Stade de Reims until February 2022.
“I am very pleased to add two high quality young professionals to complete my staff,” Losada said in a statement. I believe that it is essential to be able to count on colleagues with different knowledge and skills. As a coach, I always seek to surround myself with the best in order to continue to learn and grow every day.
“[Setti] is a huge football fanatic and a lover of team play. His extensive international experience will be a great asset for communication and inclusion in the group. [Delecroix] is a hyper-prepared professional who specializes in physical conditioning and workload management.”
Losada was named head coach of the Montreal XI on December 21. He previously managed the D.C. United. Laurent Ciman will remain with CF Montreal as an assistant, as will assistant physical trainer Stefano Pasquali and goalkeeper coach Romuald Peiser.
Other instructors could be added to the group, the team also mentioned.
