Chicago police are asking for the public’s help finding a 16-year-old girl who disappeared from the Grand Crossing neighborhood on Friday.
Kayla Barton disappeared from the 1200 block of East 72nd Street on Friday, according to a missing person alert issued Sunday by police.
The circumstances of her disappearance weren’t disclosed.
Barton is a black girl with a medium complexion who stands about 5-foot-7 and weighs about 130 pounds. She has brown eyes and black hair. When last seen, she was wearing a green coat, gray pants, a blue shirt and tan boots. She might be carrying a white bookbag that has green and purple highlights.
