Deputies were searching Wednesday morning for a group of suspects accused of shooting a gun through an Orange County home and then robbing the resident.

A 23-year-old man and his girlfriend were inside the home on the 10000 block of Little Teak Street just before 3 a.m. when they told deputies they heard someone trying to break in, according to the Sheriff’s Office.

One of the suspects then fired a gunshot through a sliding glass door and ran inside. The suspect demanded items from the man and then fled, according to the Sheriff’s Office.

It’s unknown what, if anything, was stolen.

Deputies said the man had minor injuries, possibly from the shattered glass, and was treated at the scene by emergency medical crews. The man’s girlfriend wasn’t injured.

The victims told detectives there were four or five people in the group of suspects, but couldn’t give detailed descriptions of any of them.
