MADRID, 31 Mar. (EUROPA PRESS) –

Digi has continued to lead the telecommunications market in March by adding 90,000 new clients between the mobile and fixed segments, with MásMóvil as the only rival that replicates the increases in both markets and adds 25,000 clients.

In the mobile segment, the Romanian parent operator has added 72,800 new lines, while MásMóvil has increased its customer base by 12,600, according to provisional data transferred by market sources to Europa Press and which must later be confirmed by the National Commission of Markets and Competition (CNMC).

On the contrary, Vodafone leads the falls with 65,000 fewer customers, followed by Orange, which has lost 25,500 mobile lines, and Telefónica, which has lost 8,300.

In the case of fixed broadband, the difference between Digi and the rest of the competitors is still not that wide and adds up to 17,000 lines compared to the around 12,000 registered by MásMóvil and Orange, in the best month of the year for the directed operator by Meinrad Spenger.

For its part, Telefónica has ceded some 34,500 and Vodafone has lost some 17,000 customers.
