BARCELONA, 4 Ago. (EUROPA PRESS) –

Élite Taxi has filed an appeal before the Superior Court of Justice of Catalonia (TSJC) against the sanction imposed by the Catalan Competition Authority (ACCO), it explained in a statement this Friday.

Specifically, it has filed an appeal for contentious-administrative matters through the Special Procedure for the Protection of Fundamental Rights.

The ACCO imposed a penalty of 122,910 euros on the entity last Tuesday for a “collective recommendation to boycott Uber and other operators” that implies –textually– a very serious violation of article 1.1 of the Law on the Defense of Competition ( LOC).
