MADRID, 1 Dic. (EUROPA PRESS) –
The billionaire owner and CEO of Twitter, Elon Musk, has claimed to have resolved in a meeting with the CEO of Apple, Tim Cook, the “misunderstanding” about the possible removal of Twitter from the App Store.
On his official Twitter account, Musk revealed in a video that he had met personally with Cook at Apple Park, the headquarters of the apple multinational in the Californian town of Cupertino.
Subsequently, and in the same Twitter thread, the charismatic businessman announced that he had resolved the misunderstanding between the two companies regarding the possible removal of the social network application from the Apple store.
“Good conversation. Among other things, we resolved the misunderstanding about the possible removal of Twitter from the App Store. It was clear to Tim that Apple never considered doing so,” he said.
Earlier this week, Elon Musk had criticized Apple for withdrawing most of the multinational’s advertising on the social network. “Do they hate freedom of expression in the United States?” questioned the owner of Twitter, mentioning directly below Tim Cook.
Likewise, Musk criticized through the social network that he owns that Apple collects 30% of all the income generated through its App Store, in addition to echoing the video that the owners of Fortnite released in 2020 parodying the popular advertisement of the 80s of Apple criticizing IBM.
