TRENTON — A bomb threat emailed to Grant Elementary School Tuesday morning caused authorities to evacuate and search the school building, police said.

Officials from the North Clinton Avenue school called police at 10:15 a.m. to report they’d received the threat.

Police, and city fire and EMS responded, and K-9 officers from several area police agencies searched the school, but did not not find anything suspicious, Trenton police spokesman Lt. Stephen Varn said.

Trenton police detectives are investigating the origin of the threat. No arrests had been made Tuesday, police said.
