MADRID, 17 Ago. (EUROPA PRESS) –
Social Security affiliation has grown by 464,340 people in seasonally adjusted terms in the last eight months (from December 15 to August 14), as indicated this Thursday by the Ministry of Social Security.
This data, adds the department of José Luis Escrivá, is the highest for this period in the historical series discounting the two years conditioned by the pandemic (2020 and 2021) and practically equals the job creation registered in the entire year 2022.
For its part, the increase registered without seasonal adjustment reached 455,024 people, in this case the second largest for this period of the series.
In this way, with the latest data available, corresponding to August 14, the total number of affiliates has grown by 1.35 million people since the start of the pandemic.
The average affiliation observed, in seasonally adjusted terms, in the period from mid-July to mid-August has registered a result of 1,269 people compared to the average of the previous two fortnights.
