This coming Thursday, March 21, Enagás will hold its ordinary general meeting of shareholders, in which the renewal of former socialist ministers José Blanco and José Montilla as independent directors for four more years will be voted on.

Along with these appointments, the re-election for four more years as a member of the governing body of the company of Cristóbal José Gallego, who was a member of the Commission of Experts for the energy transition promoted by the Government of Mariano Rajoy and the Critical Observatory, will also be proposed. of Energy related to Podemos.

Likewise, the continuity of the representative on the board of the State Society of Industrial Participations (SEPI) – which has a 5% stake in the company’s capital -, personified by Bartolomé Lora Toro, will be voted on. In this way, the number of members of the company’s board of directors will be maintained at 15.

Blanco and Montilla were ministers during the PSOE Government of José Luis Rodríguez Zapatero and joined the Enagás board in 2020.

In addition, Enagás will submit to its shareholders the payment of the dividend of 1.74 euros per share corresponding to the year 2023. The group has already paid an interim amount of 0.696 euros per share, for which the payment of a complementary remuneration of 1.044 will be proposed. euros per share on July 4.
