PALMA, 30 Dic. (EUROPA PRESS) –
Endesa’s renewables division, Enel Green Power España, has commissioned the new Ca Na Lloreta solar plant (Alcudia, Mallorca), with an installed capacity of 3.90 MWp (3.33 MWn) and a production of 6 .32 GWh per year.
As reported by Endesa this Friday in a press release, the plant is made up of 8,874 bifacial monocrystalline panels with a capacity of 440 W each.
The installation will be able to supply energy to 1,602 homes and prevent the emission of 2,579 tons of CO2. During the construction phase, an average of 16 workers/week have participated in the work, with a peak of 66.
The one in Ca Na Lloreta is Endesa’s fifth photovoltaic plant in Mallorca that is already in service. The others are Sa Caseta (21.83 MW), Biniatria (14.97 MW), Son Orlandis (3.34 MW) and Son Reus (12.5 MW).
Together they add up to a total power of 56.6 MWp, thanks to a total investment of 47 million euros co-financed with FEDER funds.
Endesa has remarked that in the development of new renewable capacity they apply “the shared value creation approach, which incorporates into their business strategy the priorities and needs to improve the economic and social conditions of the local environment in which it operates”.
Thus, he has highlighted social and environmental actions such as training courses to “improve employment in a sector with great potential”. In this sense, courses on the operation and maintenance of renewable plants will be carried out.
These courses are carried out with the collaboration of the town councils or local entities through a framework contract with a training company. Last February, the course on the operation of renewable plants in the municipality of Llucmajor was carried out, and in June, the course on operation and maintenance of renewable plants in the municipality of Alcúdia.
