The opposite, however, is observed if it is performed two or more hours before sinking into the arms of Morpheus.

“Based on our analysis, for healthy young and middle-aged adults with no history of sleep disturbances, exercises performed in the evening should be performed in the early evening if possible,” Frimpong concluded. . The latter added, on the other hand, that a regular exercise schedule must be established so as not to disturb sleep.

While the results seemed mixed on the subject, the Concordia University researchers chose to analyze 15 studies to reach their conclusion.
