MADRID, 4 Abr. (EUROPA PRESS) –

Finergreen, a mergers and acquisitions advisory boutique specializing in energy transition and sustainability, has announced the appointment of Alain Renaud as the group’s new CEO.

Through a press release, the firm indicates that Renaud assumes his new position as of today and will carry out his duties from Paris. He will be in charge of managing the activity of all Finergreen offices –a total of 12, and one of them in Madrid– and of supporting the global growth of the company. Renaud succeeds Damien Ricordeau, founder of Finergreen, who will continue to contribute to his development as Chairman.

Renaud’s job as CEO will be to consolidate the position of the boutique in the segment of mid-cap companies specializing in the energy transition, as well as the development of its presence in new markets.

Renaud has nearly 30 years of experience in international corporate and investment banking. Throughout his career, he has worked successively in New York, London, Paris, Amsterdam, Hong Kong and Dubai. Prior to joining Finergreen, he held various senior roles in the financial industry, including Global Head of M&A and Global Co-Head of Corporate Finance at HSBC, where he spent 14 years.

He has also been CEO of Dubai Commercial Bank for three years. In 2018, after returning to France, he launched his own consultancy boutique, Regagnas, specializing in cross-border transactions for the ‘mid-cap’ sector.
