VALENCIA, 20 Feb. (EUROPA PRESS) –

Ford management and the unions have agreed to cancel the production stoppage scheduled for February 21 in the Temporary Employment Regulation File (ERTE) to facilitate the right to vote for workers in the union elections held at the factory from Almussafes (Valencia).

Specifically, the ERTE has been canceled in all plants from 10:00 p.m. on Monday, February 20 to 10:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 21. The measure had been requested by the unions.

According to sources from the UGT, the majority union in the factory, at the moment an average of 150 people are going to ERTE daily and, “since it is a minimum percentage, the company has accepted the request of the electoral table.”

“If there were 700 they would not have done it, because they are not going to have 700 people without work, when the ERTE has been going on for years and it was known before starting the electoral process,” they point out from the majority union, which adds that “there are more people fighting on Tuesday that they work special shifts than unemployed people”.
