MADRID, 4 Oct. (EUROPA PRESS) –
The president of the Spanish Confederation of Business Organizations (CEOE), Antonio Garamendi, insisted this Wednesday on his rejection of a possible amnesty for the prisoners of the process.
“I say it clearly again, we do not share the word amnesty,” said the business leader when asked by journalists during his attendance at the ‘Madrid Forum Leaders’.
Regarding the candidacy of Pedro Sánchez for the Presidency of the Government proposed by King Felipe VI, Garamendi recalled that now it is the parliamentary groups that have to vote or not whether they support it.
“At the moment, the King has entrusted him with the possibility of seeing if he can form a government (…) I believe that it is within what is the normal, constitutional range of how the King proposes a person to see if he can form a majority,” he said.
