The head of the State conservative outgoing Andrzej Duda is in the lead in the first round of the presidential election on Sunday in Poland and will oppose a liberal candidate in the second round on 12 July, according to the results, almost complete published by the electoral Commission (PKW).
The outgoing president has received 43.7% of the votes, after the count of ballots from 99,78% of the polls, announced PKW Monday.
