The best of the best high school band musicians from Lehigh County gathered in the Salisbury High School auditorium on Thursday to make music.
They came along with their music directors to practice for the 2017 Lehigh County Honor Band Concert.
The concert will be held at Salisbury High School at 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 4. The concert will include a wide range of musical styles, with selections directed by each school’s director.

Organizers said this is the 59th year of the Lehigh County Honors Band Festival.
Each year a different high school hosts the event.
This year’s concert will feature band musicians from Allentown Central Catholic, William Allen, Catasauqua, Dieruff, Northern Lehigh, Northwestern Lehigh, Parkland, Salisbury, Southern Lehigh, and Whitehall high schools.
The national anthem will be directed by Salisbury Superintendent Randy Ziegenfuss.
