Solar contracts under management increased by 62% between April and June

Holaluz closed the second quarter of the year with revenues of 163.1 million euros, 32% less than in the same period of 2022 and 19% less than in the first quarter of this year due to the drop in the price of electricity , has communicated to BME Growth on Monday.
The company has highlighted that sales of solar installations grew by 14% year-on-year, with 949 between April and June, and solar contracts under management increased by 62%, with 12,563.
The executive director of Holaluz, Carlota Pi, explained that “the fundamentals of the solar market are intact” and that residential installations continue, in her words, to be widely under-included with 3% of potential roofs.
The company added that electricity prices remain double what they were in 2019 and that subsidies for solar installations continue “to be widely available”.
Holaluz has 325,000 electricity contracts and distributed generation registered growth of 161% year-on-year and 138% quarter-on-quarter.
