Bank deposits from households and companies in Spain stood at 1.28 trillion in July, 25.6 billion euros less than the volume of 1.30 trillion euros they had in July 2022, according to provisional data made public this Tuesday by the Bank of Spain.
Compared to last June, the reduction is 13.2 billion euros.
Household deposits stood at 984.8 billion euros in July, which represents a reduction of 5.5 billion compared to June and 12.6 billion compared to July 2022.
For their part, business deposits stood at 299,000 million euros, cutting 7,700 million compared to June and 13,000 million compared to the same month of 2022.
The deposits of all residents in Spain were placed at 1.56 trillion euros in July, 15.3 billion euros less than in June and 53.7 billion euros less than in July 2022.
The amount of deposits of residents in Spain plus that of those abroad stood at 1.638 billion euros in the seventh month of the year, falling by 14.7 billion euros compared to June and 57.5 billion compared to the same month of the previous year.
