MADRID, 9 Sep. (EUROPA PRESS) –

Iberdrola and Northgate have received recognition from the Association of Electric Vehicle Users (AUVE) for their joint comprehensive electric mobility strategy, during the celebration of the second edition of the awards at the Madrid Electric Vehicle Fair VEM2023.

The AUVE awards, promoted by AEDIVE and Movilidad Eléctrica, seek to recognize excellence and commitment in the field of sustainable mobility.

The assessment highlighted the global nature of the alliance between Iberdrola and Northgate by taking into account different aspects, from charging infrastructure to facilitating access to electric vehicles, raising employee awareness, optimizing energy management and the implementation of decarbonization measures.

The agreement carried out by both companies involves the installation by Iberdrola of 140 charging points for electric vehicles in the 27 Northgate headquarters in Spain, a network that will be powered with green energy through 10 self-consumption facilities of a power joint 530kw, and external energy of renewable origin, both solutions also provided by the energy company.

Iberdrola has the most extensive public charging network in Spain with 5,000 operational charging points and 3,000 more in different processing phases.

Northgate is promoting the electrification of its customers’ vehicle fleets. The company’s commercial proposal goes beyond the vehicle itself, and includes all the services related to it, such as charging infrastructure.
