MADRID, 7 Ene. (EUROPA PRESS) –
Iberia has updated the monitoring of the ground services staff strike at Spanish airports to 20.2% on average until 6:00 p.m. this Sunday, the third day of the protest. The company has also indicated that the strike continues to occur normally, with 82% punctuality and 100% regularity of scheduled flights.
Likewise, Iberia has indicated, in a statement, that the Iberia Group – Iberia, Iberia Express and Air Nostrum – has scheduled 539 flights throughout this Sunday, and as of 6:00 p.m., 399 have already operated.
In addition, it has assured that it is working to regularize all the suitcases that could not be loaded on Saturday in Bilbao, Barcelona and Gran Canaria to send them to customers as soon as possible.
Finally, Iberia has called on the unions indicating that “a strike is not the solution” but rather involves “dialogue” and agreeing on solutions that do not harm the competitiveness of the airlines of the IAG group.
Likewise, the airline has apologized to passengers for the inconvenience caused by the strike.
