Jeanick Fournier will record an album. The Journal has learned that the Saguenéenne singer, recent winner of the show Canada’s Got Talent, has signed a contract with Universal Music Canada.

Its manager Régis Nadeau announced the news to us on Thursday evening. A spokesperson for the Canadian music giant also confirmed the information.

“Under an agreement with Canada’s Got Talent (CGT), we have a right of first refusal with artists who participate. In the case of Jeanick, we said yes, yes, we take it, ”says the public relations officer of Universal Music Canada in Montreal, Jonathan Bergeron.

It is, he says, a standard contract that aims to create three to five albums.

Over the next few weeks and months, Jeanick Fournier and his entourage will have to determine the musical direction of his album and make choices among the songs that will be offered to him.
