BARCELONA, 17 Oct. (EUROPA PRESS) –
Jose Arreche has been appointed as the new director of the Seat plant in Martorell (Barcelona) and will focus on its transformation process and the launch of the first 100% electric car manufactured there.
In a statement on Monday, the car company explained that Arreche will report to Seat’s Vice President of Production and Logistics, Markus Haupt.
Haupt explained that Arreche is joining the firm at a key moment for the plant: “His experience will be decisive in accelerating the transformation of the factory.”
Arreche is an industrial engineer specialized in the application of industry 4.0 technologies. He began his career at Volkswagen Navarra, where he held numerous positions until he was appointed director of planning in 2018.
Seat manufactures the Seat Ibiza, Seat Arona, Seat León, Cupra Formentor and Audi A1 on the three production lines at the Martorell factory.
